August 9 the International Day of the World's Indigenous People

1994, the United Nations General Assembly decided that the International Decade of the World's Indigenous People during the annual August 9 as the International Day of the World's Indigenous People. This is on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights Sub-Commission Working Group on Indigenous Populations in 1992, held its first meeting day.
